About AeroSEC 2026
AeroSEC - Aerospace Systems Engineering Conference is the first of its kind event organized by INCOSE India Chapter (www.incose.org/India) dedicated to Systems Engineering in Aerospace, Defense, and Space domains. AeroSEC 2026 marks the very first edition of the biannual conference series, and is planned to be held in Bengaluru, India, on 27-28 November, 2026.
AeroSEC 2026 conference Committee invites academicians, researchers and industry practitioners to actively participate in the conference and leverage this opportunity to exchange ideas, information and opinions, share their research findings and experiences in systems engineering.
The theme of the conference is “Advancing Systems Engineering for a Complex and Digital Future”.

Submission Guidelines – Technical Papers
Authors are invited to submit only original papers (written in English) that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The length of the paper should not exceed 15 pages. Papers exceeding these limits, multiple submissions, and self-plagiarized papers will be rejected without further review.
All submitted papers will be subject to a peer-review process. Please refer to the conference website for paper formatting requirements.
Academic papers should cover theory through validation, although papers presenting research proposals coupled with initial results will also be considered. Practice-focused papers should include the problem space and approach through implementation.
Papers providing insight into critical applications of Systems Engineering that address complex problems will align strongly with the conference theme.
At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper during the conference for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Invitations will be extended to authors of selected best papers to submit an extended version for consideration as book chapters.

Submission Guidelines – Non-Refereed Presentations
Non-refereed presentations are less formal than refereed papers and are reviewed by the Conference Technical Committee for inclusion in the program. These presentations are not subject to the formal peer-review process applicable to refereed papers.
Presentation formats such as PowerPoint are suitable, and there is no requirement for a formal paper. Presenters must first submit an abstract. Upon notification of shortlisting, presenters should prepare a presentation deck to facilitate a 15-minute presentation during the conference.
All presenters of non-refereed presentations must register for the conference before the presentation is admitted to the final conference program.

Publication
All technical papers presented at the conference will be included in the AeroSEC 2026 Conference Proceedings and published in the INCOSE online digital library.
Authors of selected high-quality papers will be invited to submit an enhanced version to the INCOSE Systems Engineering Journal. Submitted papers will undergo the journal’s review process.
