I am deeply honoured to welcome you to the AeroSEC2026, Aerospace Systems Engineering Conference, by INCOSE, India. This flagship conference, centred on the theme “Advancing Systems Engineering for a Complex and Digital Future”, serves as a premier forum for bringing together researchers, practitioners, industry leaders, policymakers, and academic experts to address the opportunities and challenges shaping the next era of aerospace innovation.
The aerospace sector is undergoing a profound transformation driven by increasing system complexity, rapid digitalization, autonomous technologies, and the growing convergence of physical and digital engineering ecosystems. In this environment, systems engineering plays a critical role in enabling the design, integration, verification, and lifecycle management of highly complex aerospace systems. The conference theme highlights the need to evolve systems engineering practices to meet the demands of digital engineering, model-based approaches, artificial intelligence, cyber-physical integration, and resilient system architectures.
